Hello Everyone!
Our warm weather has left for the season. It's supposed to be below 45 degrees (F) this week and we have a forecasted low of 15 degrees(F).
We received 3-5 inches of snow yesterday and last night. The boys were so excited. They played outside all yesterday afternoon.
Today we went to church. We had to scrape ice off the windowshield of the car and because we Daddy has the suburban for work, we had to take the Camry. Mom was a little nervous about driving to church in the car. It does have front wheel drive, so that was a comfort. We did hit a few miles of ice on the way there, but God protected us.
After we got home from church all of the kids played in the snow. They had a blast!
The snow started melting today, but there was enough to 'snowboard' on.
For some reason we can't upload pictures in the Blog right now. We'll add a few later when we can.
We're all enjoying the peace and warmth of home this evening.
We miss you all so much!

Hello Everyone!
We're all enjoying a gorgeous day. It's 60 degrees and raining here. It feels more like spring than the first week of December. The boys are all waiting very anxiously for the snow and Holden is convinced that it will never come.

We decorated the tree last Sunday and we all had fun.

Tuesday Mom hosted the homeschool mom's meetings at our house and we invited the kids to come and hang out so we could have a homeschool teen game night. There were two boys around Holden's age and two girls around Jacey's age, and we all had a great time. We learned some new games and taught them some new ones.
Today the boys played outside in the fort. It poured rain all night and it's been raining off and on all day. Seth fell in the water and the boys had to carry him up to the house because he had ammonia (pneumonia). He looked more like a prisoner than a patient.

Daddy's leaving on a business trip tonight he won't be back till Monday. We'll miss him.
We really aren't doing much else.
We miss you all SO much!!!

Hello Everyone!
Today we drove up to Mount Snow, which is about an hour away, and where we will be taking ski and snowboarding lessons. It's a pretty big place with mulitiple lodges and a place just for snowboarding. We ate lunch at the main lodge. We all had pizza. Yummm!
It was about 40-45 degrees up on the mountain but the wind was blowing so it seemed a lot colder.

On the way up there we drove through some areas that had gotten about 6 inches of snow. We stopped at a pulloff by the road and played in the snow.

After we got home Jacey, Ian, Holden, and Daddy expanded Zora's pasture again. Miss Zora was very happy to have some more space and grass.

We had leftovers for dinner and now we're all just relaxing.
We miss you all!

Hello Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving a day late.

We hope everyone had as wonderful of a holiday as we did.
We hoped to be able to put more pictures up, but we can't get them off of Ian's camera right now. We apologize.

Grandma and Grandpa Daughton came out to celebrate with us and we had a wonderful time with them.

On Tuesday we toodled around Manchester, VT. We visited the Northshire Bookstore and Daddy's work. The little boys stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa in the hotel and got to swim in the hotel pool.

On Wednesday we visited Salem, NY. We stopped by the North Main Art Gallery where Holden and Jacey take art lessons to show Grandma and Grandpa the place and give our art teacher her birthday cards. That night Holden and Jacey spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa.

Thursday was Thanksgiving of course. We had a ton of food. A turkey, a ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, salad, stuffing, rolls. Basically all the popular Thanksgiving foods. Daddy spoked the turkey and it was absolutely perfect!

After supper we went for a walk down old state line road and then ate dessert.

The Grandparents left last night for Albany. They wanted to stay the night in Albany so they could make the morning flight.

Today Daddy and the boys are putting up the Christmas lights.

We miss you all and hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Hey Everyone!
Sorry about the lack of pictures. Here are a few to make it up.

All the boys working hard

Ninja Seth

Hillbilly Ian

We really haven't been doing much lately.
Jacey, Holden, and Dad are going to the Teen Super Bowl party at church tonight. It lasts all night and woe be upon the person who even thinks about sleeping. We're going to a hockey game and then maybe some bowling.
Right now Holden is doing a science experiment and the other boys are 'helping'.
Ian has started reading 'Redwall' by Brain Jacques.
Jacey and Seth finally finished the 'Hobbit' a few days ago and are now going to start on the 2nd Wizard of Oz book.
Daddy has gone bow-hunting, but he hasn't seen anything big enough to be worth shooting.
We're all working hard in school and learning lots.
We miss you all.

Hello Everyone!!!

The most exciting thing that has happened here was that it snowed a couple of days ago. It was just barely thick enough to dust the grass. The boys tried to sled on it, but it melted long before noon.

Yesterday after we got back from church we worked outside since it was a gorgeous day. It was about 65 all day. We dug the holes for blueberry bushes we're getting soon and Daddy and the boys chopped down a dead tree. We also built some raised beds.

Today it's almost 80 degrees here. We went to the store and bought food for some Thanksgiving baskets that we're giving through our church.

Sorry there are no pictures. The dissappeared after Jacey uploaded them from the camera.

We miss you all so much!
